What gets you most energized about coming to work at Delta each day?

What energizes me most about coming to work each day is knowing that we’re making real, measurable progress in optimizing carbon capture technology. It’s incredibly motivating to be part of a team that isn’t just talking about climate change but actively doing something about it. Whether it’s through research breakthroughs, successful pilot projects, or partnerships that expand our impact, each step we take brings us closer to a more sustainable future.

What is one of the biggest challenges or misconceptions about carbon capture, and how are we working to address it at Delta?

One of the biggest challenges associated with carbon capture is the perception that it’s too expensive to be practical. Many assume it’s a “band-aid” solution rather than a meaningful step toward decarbonization. We’re investing in research and partnering with industry leaders to make the technology more efficient, scalable, and cost-effective,

By doing so, we demonstrate that carbon capture isn’t about avoiding responsibility—it’s about taking bold, science-based action to combat global warming.

What is the most important non-technical skill needed for success in the clean energy sector?

In the clean energy sector, adaptability is the most important non-technical skill for long-term success.

This field is constantly evolving—whether it’s shifts in technology, policy, funding, or public perception. What works today might be outdated tomorrow. Being adaptable means staying open to new ideas, pivoting quickly when needed, and embracing innovation even when it challenges conventional thinking.
