KELLY MANTEI, P.Eng., Chief Operating Officer
Kelly Mantei is the Chief Operating Officer at Delta Cleantech, with over three decades of leadership in engineering, manufacturing, and energy innovation. A professional engineer and former naval officer, he brings extensive experience scaling operations, launching new technologies, and leading high-performance teams. At Delta, Kelly leverages his deep industry knowledge to drive the development of practical, scalable carbon capture solutions.
JEFF ALLISON, Vice President, Operations
Jeff Allison is the Vice President of Operations at Delta CleanTech, overseeing the company’s CO2 capture, solvent reclaiming, and carbon credit businesses. He manages Delta’s overall operations, legal matters, and accounting. With over thirty years of experience in business management and corporate finance, Jeff has a strong background in customer contract and legal development, project management, human resources development, project financing, and capital raising. Before assuming his current role, Jeff served as President and Director of Delta CleanTech Inc. and President and Director of HTC Purenergy Inc. He also held several positions in the financial sector, including Associate Vice President of Commercial Banking. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree specializing in Marketing and Finance.
LIN LI, M.Sc., P.Eng., M.Eng. Engineering Manager
Lin Li is an Engineering Manager at Delta CleanTech with over seventeen years of experience in the carbon capture, natural gas processing, petrochemical, and ethanol industries. He delivers engineering support across all project phases, including concept design, detailed design, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting. His experience includes plant design and optimization for CO2 capture and removal, plant optimization and troubleshooting for refinery units, and gas sweetening unit studies. Lin has an M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University, an M.Eng. in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Calgary, and a Data Science Professional Certificate from HarvardX. He has also contributed to numerous publications and conference posters in the field.
SEMHAR AMINE ZEREMARIAM, E.I.T. Project Manager
Semhar Zeremariam is a results-oriented Project Manager with a background in the engineering, manufacturing, and service sectors. Her key strengths include strategic planning, resource allocation, and project management, where she excels at leading teams and optimizing operational efficiency. She holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Applied Science in Petroleum System Engineering from the University of Regina and has demonstrated a commitment to professional development through certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt. Semhar is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and the Society of Petroleum Engineering.
FIRUZ PHILIP, PhD, P.Eng., Process Engineer
Firuz Philip is a highly skilled Process Engineer. He specializes in developing innovative solutions for CO2 capture, mainly focusing on metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) and ionic liquid/amine composites, and his research has been published in several peer-reviewed journals. Firuz’s technical expertise includes thermodynamic modelling, process simulation, and cost estimation for CO2 capture processes. He earned his PhD in Process Systems Engineering from the University of Regina and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and the Project Management Institute (PMI).
NEIL RATHVA, E.I.T., Process Engineer
Neil Rathva is a Process Engineer with proven experience in process simulations, engineering calculations, and project management. His technical expertise includes FEED studies, process simulations, equipment sizing, P&ID reviews, HAZOP studies, and mass & energy balances. He holds a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of Calgary and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) with the Project Management Institute.
